Language and art have always been my greatest passions. From a young age I loved to read and draw, and during my teenage years my fascination with Slavic cultures grew.
In 2021 I finished my bachelor's degree in Russian studies at Leiden University, followed by a master's in translation studies at the University of Amsterdam. During my master's, I was given the opportunity to work on my first book project, which has been published in late May 2023: Het Open Woord (A.A. Hoogteiling), a translation of Открытое Слово by Lydia Chukovskaya.
